 The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town

This wicked bar is hidden through the Smeg fridge at The Breakfast Club in Spitalfields. The cocktails are great so you can’t go wrong, but you’ll have to ask to see the Mayor in order to get in through the secret fridge.

Bario East is a funky Latin American restaurant / bar that has a great atmosphere. There is a small outside area in summer. This place is all pineapples, foliage and quirky bits. They have an Amigo Hour happy hour that’s cocktails for £4.50 every day from 4pm – 8pm.

Slim Jim’s Liquor Store

Slim Jim’s brings the best of American dive bars to Islington. There are rocking tunes on the jukebox and the party keeps going until late whether it’s the start of the week or a Saturday night.

The fish is in an old TV, the best seat in the house is at the piano and this place has a very happy hour that happens daily. Their cocktails are heavy on the seasonal stuff and they love a homemade ingredient.
